This solar panel installation in Oving, near Chichester, West Sussex was installed on a flat roof. The 7 Renesola 265W panels were chosen to maximise the output of the relatively limited roof space. We designed a bespoke mounting system to ensure that the solar installations height did not extend beyond the top of the roof parapet. This meant that the solar panel installation fell into the category of permitted development, for which planning permission is not required. The solar arrays output peaks at 1.85kW, we used a fronius IG20 inverter which was mounted in the loft space. For this project we had to work around other trades, the property was undergoing some major refurbishment. This meant that we had to carry out the works to a fairly strict time frame.
